The presence of a cable or a box on the wall does not establish that the unit heats cold water electrically.

A mixer depends on the supplied hot water
The mixer must be suitable for the pressure, flow and temperature conditions provided by the system. Select from the exact shower’s permitted requirements rather than assume every mixer works equally well on all three.

An electric shower needs a suitable circuit and supply

Define who completes the plumbing, electrical work and making good so the finished installation is safe, accessible and suitable for the room.

Keep temperature safety within the selection
Where temperature stability or vulnerable users are important, discuss the appropriate product features and installation checks. A thermostatic claim still depends on correct fitting, compatible supplies and commissioning. Do not bypass a temperature stop, replace a specified hose with an arbitrary accessory or assume a different head is harmless on every appliance.
If the existing shower suddenly becomes scalding or cannot control temperature, stop using it and arrange assessment. Internal adjustments are not a sensible way to make it usable while waiting. Tell the team whether other hot outlets behave normally so the investigation can distinguish a local shower fault from a wider hot-water problem.
